Japanese economic recovery
State Shinto was shattered and replaced by full religious freedom. The other feathers in their cap were the soldiers that suddenly became available for employment. They quickly moved into the labor-intensive industries. Japan's education system also churned out generations of ready-made workers. Being that public schools were secretly created by business magnates, it's no wonder that the government schools resulted in a superior work force.
